Sandiola is proud to sponsor WindanSea Surf Club's Day at the Beach events taking place on July 13th and August 17th, benefiting challenged athletes and children from homeless families. Join us in making a difference through surfing, fun, and community support.
We are thrilled to announce that Sandiola is sponsoring two wonderful community events organized by the WindanSea Surf Club: The Day at the Beach for Special Surfers and The Day at the Beach Kids Day for St. Vincent de Paul.
Special Surfers Day at the Beach:
Date: Saturday, July 13th
Details: Benefiting challenged athletes from around the county, this event provides a fun and supportive environment for everyone involved.
Day at the Beach: St. Vincent de Paul:
Date: Saturday, August 19th
Details: Benefiting children from homeless families residing at the St. Vincent de Paul homeless shelter, this event gives these children a carefree day of surfing, playing, and making new friends.
About the WindanSea Surf Club:
The WindanSea Surf Club, founded in the early 1960s, quickly became a prominent force in California's surf competitions, attracting world-class surfers like Miki Dora and Mike Doyle. In 1965, the club was incorporated as a non-profit organization under the leadership of Thor Svenson, with a mission to promote surfing and foster a positive image of surfers. After a brief period of dormancy in the mid-1970s, the club was revived in 1981 and continues to excel in competitive surfing. Beyond sports, WindanSea is dedicated to community service, supporting various charitable initiatives such as events for homeless children and Special Olympics athletes, while also preserving ocean and coastal environments and supporting youth for a brighter future.
