PULL-UP FOR HUNGER

We are excited to share the incredible success of our first annual Pull-Up For Hunger fundraiser, held on May 21, 2024, at San Dieguito Academy High School in Encinitas, CA. Teaming up with The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and the San Dieguito Academy High School Boys Lacrosse team, we led this event to combat hunger and raise awareness about food insecurity in our community.

Thanks to the amazing support from our donors and participants, we raised $5,179, which will provide 10,358 nutritious meals to individuals and families in need.

Our CEO, Vinnie Whibbs, and the Head Boys Lacrosse Coach at San Dieguito Academy High School, Kyle Allen, were very happy about the outcome of the event and loved bringing together the community for a good cause. The event provided a teachable moment for the lacrosse team and offered a way for them to serve those in need.
 

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and donated. Together, we made a significant impact and took a stand against hunger in our community.
